A new season

Hey all!
Starting Monday there will be some changes to the schedule due to rearranging things in the wake of Mrs. Lefler resigning. She will be missed but we shall carry on! 
Today marks the end of the 9 weeks. How fast has this flown by?!

Pre-Algebra: You don't have any homework this weekend, hooray!
However, for anyone willing to do any extra bonus work over the weekend to help boost your grade before your report cards are sent home, you can work on the following:
pg. 94-95 Sharpening Skills (all 15 questions)
pg. 102 Sharpening Skills (all 10 questions)

 Any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

WV History: Some of us didn't quite make it to the end of the 6th chapter today in guided reading so we will be sure to finish that up on Monday and test on chapter 6 on Wednesday. 
The next week of County Quizzes is Wk. 4. Angel renamed the Quizlet study guides so you can find this week's counties under week 4. Her username is amichelle_3


Algebra 1:
Bonus work for the weekend, if you so choose: Blue Boxes on page 64-65. There are 15 questions all together. If you turn those in completed on Monday, there will be a bonus added to your grade which may help your report card. Just try it!


Bible 7/8:I will get your memory verse quiz graded and I have already updated grades for Test 2 that you took today.
Even though I will not be having you all for Bible anymore, I would still like to complete the shoe boxes so if you have items to bring in, please do so this coming week! 

 Bible 9-12:
I would like you guys to still be a part of the shoe boxes so if you have any items to bring in, please do so on Monday or anytime this upcoming week!

Guys, it's been real and it's been fun. It's been real fun. Some of you I will still have for Science but the rest of you junior and seniors... go with God. Make good choices. And remember, it's not about you. Put and keep Jesus at the center and you'll be alright. And don't forget to take care of those rust spots.


In closing this post, congratulations... You all made it to Friday without 10 tally marks for HANDS. Oh my stars. Honestly though, I was being a little gracious and you all should have had 10. Let's practice self-control. You are going to need it in life and you might as well start now. Otherwise it will cost you, here and later. 😁

25% Of The Way There

Grade cards came back this week for the first 9 weeks which means we are 25 % done with the school year. Incredible!  You all make my job a lot of fun!  There have been some changes to the schedule so we are going to run with it to see how it rolls. 2-22!

Hey  February is nearly done! It's been a long short month. For some reason it always tends to be like that. I can't wait for some sunshine. Fat Eddies opened today, Friday the 22nd, so spring and summer are on the horizon! 😁 Science 9/10:   No homework this weekend. 😁 I think that the lab today was pretty fun in figuring out speed. Pre-Algebra: Homework is pg. 210 question #4. You are making a rectangle graph. Please be sure to use a ruler and give specific lengths for showing the size of each portion. Also, be sure to label the graph. A graph tells information, you cannot just draw a box and put numbers in. You have to display information so that someone could ask you a question and you would be able to answer it according to the listed info. WV History: Congrats! Y'all did the Golden Horseshoe! Week 8

Hey! I hope you all have had a great 8th week! This is gonna be a quick post. Sorry it's late! Pre-Algebra Monday we'll be testing on chapter 1 & 2. We have gone over review in class today so hopefully y'all were paying attention. Be sure to bring a calculator as I will allow you to use it on the basic math stuff. WV History I was going to have a Quizlet study guide made up for chapter 5 because we will test on it Monday but I think we will just keep it open book so that should help you a bunch. Thursday we will take our next county quiz. For those of you who want to retake the last 5, you are able to redo it but you will have to do the next five as well (ten altogether). Angel made up a quizlet study guide for the 5 county bunches that you may want to use to help you study which county goes with which county seat.
