Week 8

Hey!

 I hope you all have had a great 8th week!
This is gonna be a quick post. Sorry it's late!

Pre-Algebra
Monday we'll be testing on chapter 1 & 2. We have gone over review in class today so hopefully y'all were paying attention. Be sure to bring a calculator as I will allow you to use it on the basic math stuff.

 WV History
I was going to have a Quizlet study guide made up for chapter 5 because we will test on it Monday but I think we will just keep it open book so that should help you a bunch. Thursday we will take our next county quiz. For those of you who want to retake the last 5, you are able to redo it but you will have to do the next five as well (ten altogether). Angel made up a quizlet study guide for the 5 county bunches that you may want to use to help you study which county goes with which county seat. But don't forget, you'll still need to know where they are on a map!  Her username is: amichelle_3

 Algebra 1
Great week everyone! We will be reviewing our quiz on Monday and moving on the next 3 sections of the chapter this week. We will probably quiz again by Friday as well.

Bible 7/8
We have been going over the life of Jesus since the start of school. I think it's been great. I love talking about the greatest man who lives.
Memory verse will be due on Friday, the 19th. It is Isaiah 50:4. You will need to be prepared to write or recite it.

 Bible 9-12Monday & Tuesday of this next week we will continue to finish the movie The Case For Christ. I think it is fascinating about all the facts and historical things that prove Jesus was not only real but that He died and rose again.
Also... Friday the 19th, will be our next memory verse quiz. Isaiah 50:4. Study so that you can write or recite it.

25% Of The Way There

Grade cards came back this week for the first 9 weeks which means we are 25 % done with the school year. Incredible!  You all make my job a lot of fun!  There have been some changes to the schedule so we are going to run with it to see how it rolls. 2-22!

Hey  February is nearly done! It's been a long short month. For some reason it always tends to be like that. I can't wait for some sunshine. Fat Eddies opened today, Friday the 22nd, so spring and summer are on the horizon! 😁 Science 9/10:   No homework this weekend. 😁 I think that the lab today was pretty fun in figuring out speed. Pre-Algebra: Homework is pg. 210 question #4. You are making a rectangle graph. Please be sure to use a ruler and give specific lengths for showing the size of each portion. Also, be sure to label the graph. A graph tells information, you cannot just draw a box and put numbers in. You have to display information so that someone could ask you a question and you would be able to answer it according to the listed info. WV History: Congrats! Y'all did the Golden Horseshoe! National Read a Road Map Day

Hey everyone! It is such an appropriate national day seeing as I will be heading out on a road trip today. I am really looking forward to seeing a friend in NC. It's been years. I don't plan on reading a road map though. Hahah! That's what we have phones with GPS's for. 😀 Nine more days till spring break! Science 9/10: No homework this weekend. 😀 However, two of you were missing today, Friday, so you will have to make up Quiz 31 on Monday.
