Howdy! Week 5 is in the books! Secondary students are invited back to the gym tonight for a party! What kind of party? I'm not quite sure how to word it but there will be lots of fun, food, music, etc. It's my last few moments as the youth leader at New Life Assembly and it's been a blast so we'll go out with a boom and have some fun. We'll have a nacho bar (nachos and all the toppings), a breakfast bar (bacon, pancakes, bacon, waffles, bacon, etc), and tea and coffee. There will be a lip sync battle (with prizes), a Dr. Seuss rap battle (with prizes), and just some fun things. Pre-Algebra: Well done this week y'all! We'll be going through a lot more of the measurements in this chapter this upcoming week. No homework this week. We'll be doing another quiz this next week and preparing for a test the following week as well. WV History: Today we had our 5 county quiz of the first five B counties. The students had to list them, their county seats
Hey all! We've officially had 4 weeks of school! How incredible is that?! I don't know about you but it has gone by in a blur. It's been wild and fun though! When people first started asking me how I liked teaching after the first week or two, I would say, "I think I love it." Now I feel like I can say, "I love it." But you students are definitely what makes it fun and worthwhile. So thank you! Pre-Algebra: This coming week we'll be reviewing the percentages of profits. I know it's been your favorite lessons to do. 😂 I do believe we will have the girls (Madison, Angel, and Bryson) to teach/help direct the class on Monday. Hopefully we will all be on the same page by Tuesday so we can move into the next chapter that deals with measurement. There will be probably be a quiz or test during the week along with the occasional speed test. No homework for the weekend. Enjoy! WV History: We have read through chapter 3 this week and will review

Hooray for another weekend!

Hey all!  It's been a short but long week. Somehow these four days seemed to take longer than a five day week. But it's the weekend, so yay!  Pre-Algebra:  Homework for the weekend is brought to you by Glen!  >Homework = problems 27, 29, 31, 33, 35  Great job teaching today Glen! When we have review days, y'all will be able to take turns teaching and assigning problems. For this upcoming week 9/10-9/14, we'll be working through Lessons 30-34 (1.41-1.45) on pgs. 67-76. WV History No homework for the weekend unless you decide you want to read ahead. We will be going over more about the regions in West Virginia, especially the tourist regions. There are a lot of neat things located in each region that make them unique so we will discover what those are. Algebra 1 >Homework is the take home Quiz 2 - Due Monday, the 10th >We will work through lessons 1.8-1.10 (thereby finishing chapter 1) this week and also take two quizzes. The test for chapter 1 will
