Hooray for another weekend!

Hey all! 

 It's been a short but long week. Somehow these four days seemed to take longer than a five day week. But it's the weekend, so yay! 
Pre-Algebra:

Great job teaching today Glen! When we have review days, y'all will be able to take turns teaching and assigning problems.

For this upcoming week 9/10-9/14, we'll be working through Lessons 30-34 (1.41-1.45) on pgs. 67-76.

WV History
No homework for the weekend unless you decide you want to read ahead. We will be going over more about the regions in West Virginia, especially the tourist regions. There are a lot of neat things located in each region that make them unique so we will discover what those are.

Algebra 1>Homework is the take home Quiz 2 - Due Monday, the 10th
>We will work through lessons 1.8-1.10 (thereby finishing chapter 1) this week and also take two quizzes. The test for chapter 1 will be on the 17th of Sept.

Bible 7/8>Memory verses are always due on Fridays. Next one due: Sept. 14th.
1 Peter 5:8-9 (NIV or KJV)
>Also, Monday we will review some more of the lessons we have gone through about the beginning of Jesus' life and on Tuesday we will take a quiz! Woohoo! 
Bible 9/10

Psalm 119:1-3 (NIV or KJV)
On Monday you will write your review on 3 of the first 6 lessons we have done.

25% Of The Way There

Grade cards came back this week for the first 9 weeks which means we are 25 % done with the school year. Incredible!  You all make my job a lot of fun!  There have been some changes to the schedule so we are going to run with it to see how it rolls. 2-22!

Hey  February is nearly done! It's been a long short month. For some reason it always tends to be like that. I can't wait for some sunshine. Fat Eddies opened today, Friday the 22nd, so spring and summer are on the horizon! 😁 Science 9/10:   No homework this weekend. 😁 I think that the lab today was pretty fun in figuring out speed. Pre-Algebra: Homework is pg. 210 question #4. You are making a rectangle graph. Please be sure to use a ruler and give specific lengths for showing the size of each portion. Also, be sure to label the graph. A graph tells information, you cannot just draw a box and put numbers in. You have to display information so that someone could ask you a question and you would be able to answer it according to the listed info. WV History: Congrats! Y'all did the Golden Horseshoe! Hey! So... We've come to the end of our first 9 weeks. Report cards will be sent home on Thursday.
