HoCo Week was Grand!

Hey everyone,

I hope you had a super fun week! I know that game day on Wednesday was a fun option for everyone!

Alumni games are on Saturday starting at 5!

Science 9/10:
No homework this weekend.
We will be starting Chapter 10 on Monday.

Pre-Algebra:
No homework this weekend. Enjoy!

WV History:
No homework: We'll finish up with chapter 12 this next week and keep working on some quizzes for the Golden Horseshoe test. I really do think that some of you did a great job on the essay!

Algebra 1:
Homework= Finish Test 4. It is open book on chapter 4 so be sure to use the book and examples if you can't remember how to work a problem.

Science 7/8:
Read pages 213-215. It's about carnivores so some of them are pretty cool to read about.
Also, be ready on Monday to present your information about your mammal. We will do that as soon as we start on Monday.
Remember, I don't want you reading directly from the paper... You can have notes but I want you to share what you have learned about your chosen mammal.

Here's a guideline for the information to find and share:

Where does it live?
What does it eat?
What unique features does it have?
What class of species is it?
Are you allowed to have it as a pet? If so, do you need a special license?
What is the nearest zoo that has this animal?
Share any other information that you found interesting

**Presentation only needs to be 1-2 minutes long

**Please provide a picture to show everyone your mammal: You can print one or tell me what it is so I can pull it up on the screen.
**Presentations will be on Thursday

Health 11/12:
We'll take the final test of pace 2 this next week. I know some were missing Friday due to homecoming so you'll have a little to catch up on.

Choir:
We'll plan on doing the same songs we had practiced from the week before last.

Have a super great weekend!

Love,
Miss Thies
