Thanksgiving is so close

Hey there!

 Veteran's Day. As one who has brothers, cousins, a parent, and a grandparent who have served in the military at one point in their life, it is an awesome day to take and be reverent and grateful for those who have dedicated years of service and for some, their very lives, for our freedom. 
So while you enjoy your Monday off, remember those and their families who have sacrificed for us all.

 Science 9/10:

This week has been a rough one when it comes to being productive in this class. Homework this week, please read through section 7.2 so we can somewhat keep on track and move on before Thanksgiving break.

Pre-Algebra: 

 I might have assigned homework if we had class today but lucky you! Exponents have been fun and I feel confident in what you all have been doing in class. Keep it up! See you next week and have a great long weekend!

 WV History: 

As some of you highlighted, we didn't get to do our county quiz today. We will do that if we have class on Tuesday, so please be prepared. We'll also hopefully get into chapter 8.

Algebra 1: 

 Slopes! We're working on chapter 3 with the Cartesian plane. Read 3.3 on page 101-103 (Slope Definition & Slope Equation). We'll get into those lesson this week.

Science 7/8: 

STUDY! Test 4 will be this week sometime. Possibly Tuesday but I'm uncertain about Christmas play practice scheduling. Use Quizlet. My username is s_thies
You'll find the test study guide under Science 7 & 8. Review the terms over and over. If you do it at least once a day, I have confidence that you will master it.


Health 11/12:

 Not much to say here folks. 😀

25% Of The Way There

Grade cards came back this week for the first 9 weeks which means we are 25 % done with the school year. Incredible!  You all make my job a lot of fun!  There have been some changes to the schedule so we are going to run with it to see how it rolls. 2-22!

Hey  February is nearly done! It's been a long short month. For some reason it always tends to be like that. I can't wait for some sunshine. Fat Eddies opened today, Friday the 22nd, so spring and summer are on the horizon! 😁 Science 9/10:   No homework this weekend. 😁 I think that the lab today was pretty fun in figuring out speed. Pre-Algebra: Homework is pg. 210 question #4. You are making a rectangle graph. Please be sure to use a ruler and give specific lengths for showing the size of each portion. Also, be sure to label the graph. A graph tells information, you cannot just draw a box and put numbers in. You have to display information so that someone could ask you a question and you would be able to answer it according to the listed info. WV History: Congrats! Y'all did the Golden Horseshoe! Hey! So... We've come to the end of our first 9 weeks. Report cards will be sent home on Thursday.
