Hello everyone!

NO SCHOOL MONDAY! Enjoy the long weekend! I know I will! 😃

Science 9/10:

Homework is: Read pages 190-191 and define the following three terms:
-Cellular respiration
-ATP
-Metabolism

You may also want to study for Test 5, which will be on Tuesday. It will be open book but it will help you a lot if you study some and are at least familiar with the terms.

**Also: for those that need to catch up on defining terms for homework: The following are due Tuesday:

Terms from Thursday were:
Lipids
Fats
Unsaturated fats
Hydrogenation
Cholesterol
HDL

The previous terms from last week were:
Storage cells
Fuel cells
Voltaic cells
Dry cells

Pre-Algebra:
Homework for this long weekend is pg. 154 Sharpening Skills, questions 1-9. They are review questions of things we have done. If you need to look through the book to find the lesson or an example of how to work them out, please do so. It will help you!
You guys are doing great! I'm quite proud!

WV History:
No homework, per usual. Although, I do suggest using the Quick Quizzes on www.wvculture.org to help study for the Golden Horseshoe. We still have not gotten the usernames and passwords for the practice tests but I'm hoping we'll have them by Tuesday.
I suggest studying for County Quiz week 9. There's only have 3 weeks left with the counties, y'all can do this!

Algebra 1:
Homework: Pg. 135 Blue Box questions 5, 6, 9, 10. If you do all the Blue Boxes on that page,  including 1 & 2, I will give you bonus. You will not be penalized for getting them wrong but if you get them right, it may help your grade. Use your book to be an example of the various lessons that those cover.
Remember, if you multiply or divide by a negative number, SWITCH THE INEQUALITY SIGN!

Any test corrections must be done by Tuesday and turned in when we have class. No exceptions. Use the textbook to find examples of how to work out problems.

Science 7/8:
Homework: Study for Quiz 15. We will be taking it on Wednesday.

Health 11/12
For those who miss days when we have class, please be sure to start where you left off and do your best to catch up. Also, as a reminder, grades for this class are based on your check ups, the self test, the final test of the pace, and your ability to turn the pace in when you are completed. If you do not answer check up questions because you want to skip ahead to the next section, that will result in a poor grade for the check up. These paces aren't hard but they do require you to be on top of things.

 Choir:

The next chapel the following songs will be:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2dDjjpm8Ayc
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JNEAtmq6oTE
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zev5tHjCB_s
(Don't worry about the key for At The Cross, it will be changed to make it easier for us to sing. I'll be playing it on the keyboard.)

Expressive Worship:

I'm super pleased with the way the new drama is coming along. You girls are doing great! Don't forget to listen to the song occasionally so you can be more familiar with how it goes and really get a feel for it.

Much love,
